O.M.G. What a collection!

Poor old Joe he will never be cool.
He will have to settle for hoarding the best gear in the world & stealing every lick he hears!
Sure would have loved to get my hands on that API console he didn’t want.
Personally I’m not a fan… but the man knows his gear!

Thanks Celt that was a great vid, I love the collecting and all the history of equipment.

Amazing, though i want to know how he sleeps at night with all that gear not locked in a fire proof safe?

Living in Laurel Canyon in L.A. there is always a chance that will happen.
Hopefully he has a FE-25 fire suppression system installed they are what are used in museums

My guess is it is insured for at least twice of what it is worth or at worst replacement cost.
If it goes up in flames he will mourn the loss of his collection until.…
The insurance money comes.

Then he will cash the check laughing all the way to and from the bank.
Call Norman @ Norms Rare Guitars in L.A. & George Gruhn in Nashville with his must have list.
And then go on guitar safari looking for even more rarer and nicer gear!

As long as one has the money the gear is out there and there are people who specialize in finding that gear for you!
As Collector the hunt & the find is just as rewarding as the ownership.

Cheers

Diggin' the love worn strat @ 16:45
Not a strat owner or huge fan of but that one reminds me o Willie Nelson's acoustic. Just a guitar that begs to be played.
