We inherited a late 50s RCA console stereo from an elderly relative, in beautiful condition. Is there a website somewhere on the 'net that specializes in these? I don't see a topic category here, and a search wasn't fruitful. I'd like to learn more about them from some real console "experts", so if there is a specific group somewhere for consoles please let me know! ... thanks, Sue

I think you’ll find that here in the Tube Audio forum you will find plenty of console enthusiasts! You’ll also find plenty of folks who are familiar with the amplifier modules found in many of these consoles, even if they’re not particularly fond of the furniture :)

    Welcome to AK!

And others who have the woodworking and finishing skills to bring your console back to "like-new" condition.

Videokarma may also work, as there are radio, and TV consoles, which are similar

There is a group on Facebook but it's a troll fest most of the time. Console stereo preservation and exploration. Lots of knowledge in that group, just don't ask for a free appraisal or go in thinking you've found sonething worth millions, they will troll, and troll hard.

    WoW, nice!

If you can take the backs off and take a couple pics, we can tell you what type of amplifier you have. The amp chassis should have a number on it which will narrow down exactly what you have....and could lead to proper documents...

Looks to me like a separate matching speaker cabinet.....
