I will always have love for the M504, such an elegant beast

I noticed your processor is in dolby digital mode- perhaps if there is a "direct" or straight 2 channel stereo mode you will gain some fidelity. Usually the surround sound modes like "dolby" can skew the signal by running them through the DSP. Those modes are made for true 5.1/7.1

Dolby was just on when I took the picture. Thanks tho.
Today I scored a Yamaha rx-v1, and I be using it instead if the Rotel, at 61 lbs. its a monster
