Orbit Plus Review - The Prodigal Deck Arrives

I will be looking to pick up one of these either as a present to myself or as my first major purchase of the new year. Is there any advantage to getting the Plus over the Basic? U-Turn isn't very clear on the advantages apart from upgrading to the Prestige Black.

The acrylic platter is heavier and has greater mass, so in theory it should provide greater pitch stability, better rhythmic thrust, and a lower noise floor. Plus it looks bitchen!
