I don’t have the luxury of a devoted music room at this stage in life. With a young family, we have chosen to integrate the music into our living room so everyone can enjoy. Guess I should count myself fortunate that my equipment is allowed at all!

Equipment is interspersed with books, momentos, records and family photos. Rest of the records and cds are hidden away below behind doors to keep the peace. Sure would look awesome to fill the shelves with my records!

Thank you for the compliments.

Main rig is a McIntosh MA5100 fed by a Thorens TD165 “special,” a McIntosh MR500 (soon to be replaced by an MR71), and a NAD 1050 DAC. Below is a NAD 356BEE that feed speakers in other areas of the house and a Sony single disc for the kids to use as a listen station with headphones, and bespoke Beyerdynamic SUT for LOMC carts. The SUT is hidden deep down and well shielded, so no hum!

The only things on top are the MA5100, TT and the DAC. The DAC disappears into the books and is hard to spot. WAF!
