That path usually results in an automatically-generated replacement password, which you then change the first time you log in with it. In the corporate world, you often can't then re-set your password to the old one (if you end up remembering it later) as it's already been used. Don't know if that's the case here... But in any event, remember the new one 'cause you'll need it at work.

At work I could log in without knowing my password but once logged in one can't change it. On my new computer it's easy
to do a forgotten password trip. Next step is to remember my face book PW. Funny I could give an hours talk on LOMC but ask me about Tidal or Chromecast audio and well Let's just hope my squeeze box doens't wear out.

    Thanks for responding

I hate it when I forget a password. Most of my log in is at work. Three strikes and your "locked Out".

Depending on browser and platform your browser may store your login passwords. Firefox does it on my Mac.

Right, and security policy too. I can save website passwords at home, but at work on the same browsers I cannot because they have disabled that through security policy settings.
