I used a laptop PSU to power a volt + and dive Altec 604's. I was not impressed. I'm wondering how much would change with a better power supply

Very nice and clean. Can't tell, is that a Kenwood amp? I have a chance to grab a KA-7002 and not sure what I want to do. Was going to pair it with my Luxman R-113 and Magnavox Amp 185.

New residents in my living room.
Still kicking myself for completely forgetting about the pair of Sony SS-M7s here in BT so when these cropped up on the Bay I wasted no time grabbing them.
I think my brightness problem's been solved. Loving the midrange and the wide soundstage. If I can only make them pound harder...

I got the tablet on CL cheap so I'm not too worried about humidity but it's been running well for 2 years now!!

I have and they sound very good on my screened porch. Bass can suffer but not if you place a sub against an interior wall.

nice to look at so many cool listening spaces. wish i had a lot of room like some of you do. alas, i live in a one bedroom apartment and can only do so much with it but am happy with the current layout of both systems i have in their respective rooms.

Good eye Tea. It serves as a volume control for a power amp which drives the woofers in the bi-amped system.

Zenith alnico ( circa 1958 ) over Eminence Alpha woofer H frame with front and rear firing tweeters in this OB system. Tube preamp into an active crossover feeding class D bi-amps.
