Pioneer hpm-500

Hello to all members, I'm new to this forum and need a bit of advise. I just bought a set of pioneer hpm-500 speakers without the main original drivers. Both tweeters are in good working condition, I was thinking if I could swap my hpm-40 woofers to the hpm-500 boxes? Would these be compatable?

My guess is yes, it will work just fine. Many HPM owners have swapped same sized woofers from different models with good results.

The earlier HPM series (40, 60, 100, etc.) woofers are better than the later series (500, 900, etc.), so that'll be an upgrade.

Just be careful with those 500 graphite woofers. Fragile!!!
