Pioneer CT-S88R. Found in a thrift for $12.99. It works and sounds like brand new and is cosmetically excellent. The dbx work like a champ - better than that on the Technics I owned years ago. Now I can finally listen to all my dbx encoded tapes.....

Four months into owning this jewel and it's still working great. It has to be one of the best thrift shop finds of my many years of visiting them. The only problem with it is the cassette door is not removable without removing the faceplate so cleaning heads isn't exactly easy. Had to buy some extra long cotton swabs.
