Kauai after sunset. Missile test from Barking Sands. Looks like the rocket exploded and spun back to earth in pieces. Glowing ring in the sky produced cone shaped debris field that filtered to the ocean for 5 minutes. Wow, spectacular
After the pic above, we got our little fuzzball groomed and it looks like we did have a schnauzer. We weren't sure. Here is a picture with his big (adopted) sister:
Note: she probably won't be bigger than him in the long run. She weighs around 15 pounds and mini schnauzers typically weigh more than that. He weighs about 6 in the photo.
This is the official photo of the Missile Intercept test I witnessed. . What is not shown are the two Destroyer launched SM-6 missiles chasing the medium range rocket and the dramatic hit and explosion.
I had my 5D and a tripod sitting next to me from a sunset photo less than an hour before but the whole event happened so fast.
I have some nice sunset images, but those seem so boring.
