In my '68 bus all I had to do was dump the clutch at about 3000 rpm then quickly jump on the brake, the 195 Michelin's would turn to smoke in about 10 seconds, Turning the wheel would result in tight 360's as long as you kept the rpm's up. having a 100 hp dual port engine helped.

yeah, that would help. My 73 Super Beetle wouldn't do much besides chirp tires unless I was on snow. It had a mild cam and dual carbs but it wasn't heavily modified by any stretch.

I got banned from parking on the school grounds my senior year for doing big long burnouts as I left the schools parking lot. I had to park at the church across the street.
