Howdy,

I have a 1980 Kenwood KR-8050 and a pair or Cerwin Vega RE 30's that I'm going to start building a space in my home around. The space is going to be pretty small, but it will function as a spin cycle area and TV space for the kids. No surround sound or anything fancy, just my big ass Kenwood and speakers on a vintage stand.

This is the type of stand I'm looking for. Something to hold my receiver and maybe a tape deck...? Not sure...

Oh my Dad bought the Kenwood new and I bought the speakers new in 1996 at Best Buy when I worked there...

I think I'm going to put the RE 30's up for sale. They're just huge. I'm considering the following replacements:

- AV123 X-LS
- Polk Monitor 40
- RSL CG6-A

Basically I need a bookshelf sized speaker that can handle the power of the Kenwood, I'd like a wood color, and something I can find locally (the options above are local).
