Restoration of a CA-1010 in 2019

    I have had this one sitting for several years, but if I recall correctly I bought this from a fella on the auction site (or possibly CL), although I do remember t came from Lancaster, PA. I did not get any back story, but as you recall, it was still fully functional and did not look to have been worked on other than the butcher job on the power cord....

    I'm running out of screws to put this one back together so that's a good thing. Guess I owe some pics of the power supply caps as what went in was bigger than what came out. Faceplate cleaning, what was that stuff on there that didn't want to come off? Off to clean the knobs and such then put that back together. When putting the function board back in, the selector switch in the unit MUST line up properly with the selector shaft that goes through the faceplate. Those through pieces have stops on them that only allow the same turn arc as the selector switch needs to go from one end to the other, less than 120°.
