RIP Charles Hansen - Ayre

    Not sure how I was so late hearing about this, it must have been all the busyness with the holidays. The industry lost a great designer with the passing of Charlie.

    I've really enjoyed the Ayre products I have owned. I chatted with him few years ago, and it was a pleasure. As a loyal Vandersteen owner, his zero feedback amp designs work amazingly well with the time and phase coherent Vandersteen speakers. I have always held the highest regards for his products, designs, and company philosophy.

    A sad loss in the industry, and Charles Hansen is a very talented engineer and designer in HiFi,. And Ayre lost a great engineer. R.I.P. Charles Hansen. Thanks for your contribution to great sound.
