The veteran punk drummer that played with a long list of bands has evidently passed away at age 56. Details are scarce. He was a fantastic drummer with an great sense of time & rhythm, and will be missed.

Damn, that sucks.

I got see him with Dylan, in a two drummer setup, and with the Ju Ju Hounds sans Izzy, as an opening group for The Black Crowes.
Great drummer.
 
It really does suck. I met him decades ago during my college radio days, and it was clear that he was not only a great drummer but also a great guy, both in how he treated me and my radio colleagues, and how he interacted with the other guys in The Cruzados. I've got a copy of their self-titled debut LP around here somewhere with a promo stamp and his signature on the cover. Need to locate it and give it a spin.
 
Crap. I went to spin my copy of that 1st Ju Ju Hounds album, and couldn't find it. Had to settle for the CD single of Shuffle It All, which is OK, it's got a couple of cool B-side tracks.

Except for Appetite I think that first JJ album has aged the best among the GnR related albums, IMO.
