I now use the 90-P as subs for the RF-II ( woofer amps turned up a little) and tweeter / mids as rear fill. Love it and it kicks a bit of ass.

Here's my living room as of Saturday, 09/12/15

I don't call it a "man cave" because I am not a caveman and I have run of the whole place, not just one room. This is how it looks right now.

Thanks! I was looking for a nice pair of party speakers and they fill the bill perfectly. We had our first big party last weekend and they performed as well as hoped.

Honestly, not fond of the color scheme, but definitely love the layout. Rather "neat" as the British might say. Like the fab four images. That bar likely has many in envy. Man that's a tidy place.

I'll bite....(part I)

I've posted pix of the mancave before, but this approach is a little different.

As conceived....

As built....

Thanks Copa! The colors are bold, we wanted to do something a little different since the rest of the house is white/beige/tan/brown for the most part (aside from my music room). I wasn't crazy about the kid's side colors - was supposed to be gray and orange but conceded to our daughter for the blue in place of the gray.

The bar didn't come out exactly as originally planned but we're happy with it so far.

Beautiful space! And so CLEAN! What do you guys have? Butlers and Maids? I've never lived in a space so devoid of clutter and so neat!

Enjoy!

I wish. That's why 1/2 the basement is dedicated to the kids - amazing how much cleaner the whole house looks now that the toys are consolidated to one place!

I'll bite....(part II)

prep.....

The mats were actually garage carpet with a rubberized backing. They became superfluous once I decided to have a polymer coating applied. Each one of those quad outlets was wired for a separate 20A breaker. Also, those conduits leading up were loaded with 14G speaker wire terminating in the main/family room upstairs, allowing me to limit the gear upstairs to only speakers if desired.

You've got even more of a blank slate than I did! Have fun with the project! Can't wait to see how it turns out.

The fill.....

First system

Uh oh. Too late. They've already started to multiply...

Time to get serious....

I'll bite....(part IV)

The flood gates have opened. It's hard to imaging I had all this stuff crammed into our old house....

I have posted some of these before in another thread, but here goes.
It has gone through quite a bit of changes, equipment wise over the past 4-5 years. This was the start, about 5 years ago.

At the right end of the room is my fountain.

In back of the chairs is a treadmill, and other exercise stuff.

My regret is the room is so small, but it does rock!

Love the fountain bar! Way cool.

One thing I've noticed is that while the rooms change in size, shape and equipment, there seems to be a strong following of Beatles Fans. Our generation? I'm not suggesting that people love only the Beatles, heck just about everything from that era I love. But Beatles paraphernalia seem to be quite common.
