Hey, Omegaman, I'm in AZ too! Anyways, that is a beautiful setup. And it looks to be in immaculate condition too.

I bet those EV-6's sound fantastic. These are the ones with the 18" woofers right? Dear lord, I thought the bass from my Bozak Symphony's was fantastic but that has to be downright impressive!

Plus, how can you go wrong with that classic mid-century styling?

I see you've got the loudness on just I do with my MAC1500 with vintage speakers.

Nothing like a MAC1500 with older speakers.

*Tip- try PHONO 2 input if you don't get enough gain with PHONO1.

I know it's just a matter of personal preference and a desire for up-to-date gear, but I cannot comprehend the current preference for cabinet-making like this:

But then I look at modern architecture and realize that our concept of beauty, complexity, and style have been on the wane for a very long time.

I believe the trend for narrow speakers has to do with better imaging and soundstage where front baffle reflections are minimized.
