How would you describe the sound from one of these? And where did it rest in the Sony line up back in its day? Thanks!

Well, I finally got mine working, and I personally quite like it, but I have some questions after researching older CD players.
1. Would it be worth it to replace the OP Amps? And what should I replace them with, in your opinion?
2. Would it be worth it to upgrade the power supply? And how would I do it?
3. The tracking and focus pots have to be turned all the way to the left. Is there an issue with the laser, or is something worn out? I know the CDP-101 need recaps now, but I'm not sure about this one.
4. If there is an issue with the laser, is the KSS-210A still in production? This has a 150A, but I know the 210A is the "official" replacement part.
