Sony dvp s9000 ES does not like Michael Murray

Why will this disc not play on the 9000es?

Can't answer the question, but my Rotel 1072 will not play disk 2 of Metallica S&M. I made a copy of it and the copy plays fine.

maybe the CD is not finalised...i have a Paul Butterfield Better Days Cd that plays on my Arcam CD player...yet on my Marantz CD player it won't play & reads NOT Finalised...

Look up the calibration procedure for your Sony deck and run it a few times. It's helped me get some cranky machines operating properly again.
