One of my favorites. Sounds way more powerful than its specs. Way overbuilt. 1541723782591269459678.jpg

I picked up a 7045 for next to nothing, my main receiver is a pioneer sx-750. But I much prefer the sony and its replacing the pioneer in my system for now. My Klipsch KG4's just sound more musical with it..

Its not flashy, but its won over my ears.

Yes, not flashy but crisp sound and built like a tank. I believe I found this at the dump just missing the volume and balance knobs which I just found on d'bay.

I really like the early to mid 70's Sony equipment. Great sound and well built. The later 70's equipment is nice, I just prefer the looks of the slightly earlier Sony stuff like what's been posted above.

The 7055 is a GREAT little receiver!
I totally rebuilt one for my daughter and she loves it.
    I have a 7065a ready for a rebuild now.
These are under appreciated, and often under priced units.
The are built like tanks and sound great.
Only issue … bit of a cramped rats nest inside.
