After listening to some music for a bit I noticed a static/buzz sound that somewhat went to the beat of the music. After trying a different source I confirmed it's not the amp or speakers (thankfully). I thought it was the DAC but connected it to the digital coax out of a dvd player and the noise went away, back to the computer and the noise came again. Restarting the pc helped but the noise came back after 20 or 30 minutes, out of both channels for all programs. The computer didn't have the noise coming out of the 3.5mm analog connections. Should I get a USB DAC or is there anything else I should check first?

EDIT: So it was definitely the spdif output, weird because I thought any error in the data would be more like popping noises and breaks rather than a buzzing sound along with the music. Switching to a USB DAC was the solution, using a schiit modi and I love it.
