Spotify Not Working with CCA

    Spotify isn't connecting to my Chromecast devices. Both CCAs are showing up as "Devices Available," but Spotify is not able to connect to them. Was working fine until about an hour ago.

    What I've done that DOES NOT work:
    1. Tried two different devices - both Android tablet and iPhone - Spotify on both show "Devices Available," but neither connects.
    2. Reset modem/router.
    3. Reinstalled the Spotify app.
    4. Tried streaming another service through the CCA, Google Music Play works without issue.
    Spotify works if it's hardwired to system, but it doesn't want to connect to CCA. I thought this was a Spotify issue, but others seem to be having trouble with CCAs.

    Anyone else having problems?

    Perhaps unplug/reboot/reinstall Chromecast Audio device.

    Sometimes it seems hard for Spotify to connect (harder than Pandora) to the CCA device. The whole procedure to connect is clunky I think.

    According to the Spotify Community, this was a issue for a lot of folks the afternoon of December 25. It was working again in the evening. Apparently fixed itself.
