Stands for MacIntosh amps

Pick up some nicely finished butcher blocks. You can use them to put your amps on the floor near the speakers.

I can't bring myself to put expensive gear on glass shelving. The potential for a disaster is very real and I'm not going to risk it.
52 pounds on a shelf rated for 50 pounds? Nope!
I know there is a safety factor built in that rating but still.....
With a wood shelf if you start getting close to failure it lets you know by sagging, etc. Glass gives you zero warning.

Place it on bottom shelf with a center support of a wood block, machined cylinder or 4 inch diameter trimmed PVC pipe painted black to pick up excess load. Glass flexes just get floor to bottom of glass height measurement correct.

Thanks for all your input, but have decided not to install in rack....If I do end up installing in the rack I have some CWD wood shelving I can place on the glass and then I have a 100 lbs. plus capacity. I tried it but did not like the limited vent space about the amp.
