SX-1250 Phone Pre-amp question re: external phono pre-amps...

Hi Everyone,

Got a question for the collective wisdom of this group - do you use the stock phono pre-amps or an external phono pre-amp with your Pioneer vintage receiver?

Use the SX-1250 stock phono preamp for 2.5mV Moving Magnet phono cartridges.

Moving Coil phono cartridges output 0.25 mV into a lower impedance, and would require additional amplification.
