^^ makes for excellent, festive "holiday" musical entertainment ^^
^^ in a manner @ which only a raucous Irish band could deliver ^^
So, is it wrong of me to want to kill a child at a Christmas concert?
F'n little brat decided to kick the chairs, and rattle his prgrams, and the churches hymnal pages all concert,... this after I explained to the worthless snowflake of a parent that the choir had gone to great expense to contract me (free), and, that I was there to record for them; I did so a good fifteen minutes or more b efore the concert, in a extremely polite fashion. Then, the choir conductor came out, and, asked that parents with potentially noisy children, to please take them to the rear of the hall, and/or, the crying room.
So, this obnoxious parent was cordially asked by me, and then, by the conductor, to please control their child, and,... nothing.
What am I supposed to do if he rattles the papers? worhtless POS parent asks?
I don't want him to grow up in a hostile world, and fear me,... is what I'm hearing from the blabbering worthless oxygen consumer breeder mother.
So, I took some pics,...
The devils spawn child is to the right. The devils spawns grandpa is scowling at the camera, to the left. He made it a point to clap extra loud.
Me,... wait for it,...... top of head emerging,...
I'm rigged with a pair of mics in my hair, over my ears. But, I'm invisible in this mode, so you might not see me, just yet,....
The conductors butt, and, my Set-It_and_Forget-It bag, that I had in my lap (mics under mesh netting):
And there was light, and the angels descended from on high, in the form of a string quartet. My faith in humanity was restored this afternoon.

Inaugural run of concerts in this dump; a literal dump,... reclaimed land fill location.
There was not proper venting, and blue methane flame flashes were reported from the lawn area (where this image set was taken). That must've tripped some hippies out.
Me: Having one of those moments:
An exciting game of blowing balloons up:
The longhair with no shirt, and beard,... street urchin?
Nope, trust funder who brought what was likely the first batch of just released portable DAT decks, Sony TCD-D10 to the US, complete with totally functional owners manual, in Japanese. He also brought back loads of tapes, and "home" units.
And Lenda the Good Witch - a very dear friend:
Me: when I got my head cleared, rigged as HRTF stereo with a stereo pair of mics hiding in my hair; ready to drop down front and do battle with the hippies:
And,.... 30 years later, still stuffing mics up in my hair (2017-12-16):

It was a live music Christmas.
I got my wife a cd, The O'Connor Band Live-with Mark O'Connor and a Doug Kershaw Band live record. And the obscure link is Mark O'Connor's Hero's record. Kershaw plays on it and so does Jean Luc Ponty. Both of whom played with Ipsak Pearlman on the late 70-s Chicago public TV show Soundstage called Fiddler's Three. A remake as Fiddler's Four would be real cool.
She got me Joni Mitchell DVD-Painting With Words And Music and Eric Clapton's 70th birthday bash at Royal Albert Hall. The Joni is in a intimate theatre in the round with sofa's and stuffed chairs. Probably his last live one. He still rocks.
