If only hip-hop "heads" could've seen into the future and glean what would follow this undisputed classic. Excellent pick.
There's nothing like a live turntabalism performance. There's something about that mixture of seemingly surreal hand-eye coordination involved in catching breaks and juggling beats via a crossfader that's simply mezmerizing. I have a few tracks by Cut Chemist via the Return of the DJ series and simply can't imagine what you heard/saw during those performances in L.A.Used to see Ozomatli (w Chali2na) weekly@the dragonfly in l.a. 20 years ago. In listening to the recordings, my fave parts of the show were before, during break, and after the show with just cut chemist. Wish I would have recorded more of those parts. Good times (same bar red hot chili peppers got started at).
