It has a very large number of very important security updates that go across the board tvOS, iOS, and OS-X.

I have installed the updates on my other devices, just haven't gotten around to the AppleTV. Thanks for the info.

Our company IT Dept insist updates be installed as soon as they are available. Who would have thought hackers could bring down web sites with computer cameras?

Yes "The internet of things" internet linked security cameras, WiFi controllable LED light bulbs, linked baby monitors, smart refrigerators, etc, etc, etc. There is no real security on any of these devices hackers use them to hack your PC. There have been numerous DoS attacks started using Internet of Things stuff.
