I had to acquire the services of a lawyer last year over a small matter. Somehow the matter got around to appliances, and I mentioned I loved hanging my clothes on the line on breezy day. "Oh, do you not have a dryer," in a snobbish tone. Yes, ma'am, I do have a dryer, but it saves on electricity to dry them on the line, and they smell so good!
