Velcro glue?

Most of the Velcro fasteners on my KLH 32 grills has come off, and 1/4" staples are too long for the 1/8" MDF boards. Anyone with tips on how to manage this?

My hardware store sells a lot of different types of Velcro-type strips, some with very heavy-duty adhesive pre-applied. I wipe down the workpiece surface with rubbing alcohol, let it dry, apply the "tape" and clamp or weight it for an hour or so.

Alternatively, I like Amazing Goop (also from the hardware store) for similar problems. I wet my finger so I can guide and mold it without it sticking to my finger.

I've had good luck using Aileen's

I just did a pair of KLH model 17's last week. So far so good.

If you're as frequent a visitor to Home Depot as I am, E6000 is what to look for. An amazing bonding agent, that works too well to be simply called "glue". ;)
