Hello,
I have a Pioneer A401 integrated amp which works really well except for one issue; at low volumes levels, including minimum, it lets some treble come through the right channel. This is not a problem at moderate and above listening levels but at lower levels the sound becomes tinny and right biased. I have experienced volume imbalance at low levels before but not this 'treble bleed'. Any ideas on why this might be?
In case it makes a difference I've checked bias and DC offset and both are fine. This seems like a preamp problem though. I haven't cleaned any of the pots and switches as they seem fine, apart from this.
