Yeah, Cabo's started to get a little iffy. It's not a full-on nightmare like what happened to Acapulco or Veracruz, but a little worrisome.Yep. I try to see him every Summer he comes to Tahoe. He is a "local" here, just not anymore.
He has a big bar and restaurant in Cabo too my brother says, and the locals love him down there for bringing some life to the town.
He is also credited for bringing rock and roll sounds to the air of Cabo san Lucas, having replaced the standard-fare 1950's Mexican organ-grinder music of the time. That's what I call it anyway and I work with Mexicans. I like to kid them that it sounds to me like Mexican music hasn;t changed much in 60 years..
He used to have a big classic car collection at Harrah's which he moved several years ago.
His son used to live here and drove a woody Chevy station wagon around town but I think he's moved on as well.
Oh when Sammy comes to play his annual summer concert it's a standard fare party at the casino's and everybody has a fun time.
Nice. I turned on FM, and they were playing Bach (Brandenburg Cto 4, I think).
That is the CD player to have.
