Your wife has good taste in music, Samokan. For some reason or other, I couldn't tolerate the guy during my youth. At 45, I can't get enough of his songs. Some say the 70s was the decade of the songwriter. Listening to the works of this man, Al Stewart, and other arists of a similar vein from that time only confirms the power of the pen. Good writing, good harmonies and melodies, and all around good subject matter makes for good albums.

Thanks KDAC, most of the vinyl I've been listening to lately has been weekend estate sale finds. That Von Karajan box set is fantastic, what a find that was.
