A variety of works that showcase Hi-Fi. I actually have the Mono LP of this as well.

Nice, congrats! I was always curious about that model and generally love EPIs.

Frank, I did not glue it, they are actually both older Expedit units and seem a shade more robust than the Kallax
They hardware on mine really locks it up tight...I think where the trouble begins is standing them up as opposed to horizontal...as far as record storage...a backer board is a great idea and that's where I think glue would be more effective..
I love mine, and by the way new kallax's are only 69.00 bucks

I love the beat Ian plays right before Ritchie loses his mind. The crowd looks like they don't know what to do.

I’ve been using discogs to keep track. But like you said that doesn’t help telling me where they’re at. I’ll probably mess around on the cpu and come up with a spreadsheet that will do both....

I concur Jim, I usually like any Living Stereo recordings, a true golden age.

Thanks, Jason. I'll be picking up my BH&G knockoff on the way out to Valentine's Day dinner with my bewedded..
I can't see gluing every joint. Seems like it could get messy quick. Speedy said he glued to dowels in place. I can see benefit in that.
If IKEA did free shipping I'd have rolled with them. From what I've read the BH&G 8 cube is a very capable unit. It will be horizontal with my gear on top.

I started off using 1”X2” spanning length of the kallax to keep records uniformed and the extra support. But I didn’t like seeing the wires behind it. So I added a piece of scrap plywood to close it off. Then I painted it the color of the walls behind it to match.... can’t even tell I did it. I’ll take a pic of it this evening and post it for you.
