What Are Your Favorite TV Show Themes?

I was posting some TV music in another thread and I can't remember ever seeing a favorite TV show music topic. I did a site search with no results but it could be on here somewhere. I was born in 1951, so my favorites tend to lean towards the late 50s and the 60s.

Some of my picks are:

Peter Gunn

Hawaii 5-0

Rawhide

Perry Mason

I hope this will bring back fond memories and justify all the time we spent in front of the tube as kids.

Barney Miller has always been my favorite. Taxi is good too but I don't know Movin' On.

WKRP In Cincinnati had good opening and closing songs. The theme song from Night Court was pretty good too.

Some of the ones I liked have already been recorded; I won't pile on, but will add:

The Outer Limits ("outro")
The Defenders (sheesh, anybody remember that old show?)
Starsky & Hutch Theme (I think there were 2, the one with Tom Scott)

There are others but I can't think of them for now...

Thinking back , its,hard to separate the shows from the theme songs.
That is, if you have happy memories from watching the show , even if the song was lame, it attaches its own significance. (If that makes any sense.

Also the Beatles and the Jackson 5 had cartoons with their music.
The osmonds did too , but "one red apple " Just doesn t conjure memories YMMV

Ironically , HeeHaw had great music content (the show) with an unremarkable theme song.
