What does everyone own for tube gear!

Some of you have quite the collections!

Garage1217 Project Sunrise III headphone amp
APPJ PA1502A headphone amp
Eico HF-81 stereo amp
Fisher Model 90-T Anniversary radio tuner

Currently just the following as I have to adhere to the one in one out rule;
Scott 340B fully restored, awaiting cabinet build.
Fisher 500B fully restored, awaiting cabinet build.
Grommes LJ-3 awaiting replacement OT

Kenwood KW-55 tube receiver from 1965. EL84 pp, found an adv that called it 20 watts per channel but the tech that restored it said more like 15.

It is hooked up to Mission 777 Freedom speakers rated about 92db and I want louder. I need to decide bigger amp or more sensitive speakers.

Audio Research SP20 preamp (yes, its a hybrid)
VTL MB-450 amplifiers

Backup set of SED 6550Cs, NOS 6350s, NOS 12AT7s and 6H30s.

My disease started in 1967. I got a Scott LT-110B kit for Christmas that year. It was already a couple years obsolete and was on closeout sale from Van Sickles Radio in Indianapolis. After soldering everything together it didn't work. I was 12, but my older brother who actually knew something about electronics determined it had a bad capacitor and got me the part. Still have the darn thing although haven't fired it up in years. My mother was a clean freak (I did not inherit that trait!) and she tossed the manuals years ago, but I still love her RIP. Bought the Scott 200B used in 1968 on lay-away plan from a local dealer. Still have it.

Have way too many other old radios beginning around 1920 on up. Also have a 1945-46 E.H. Scott 800B in a custom cabinet with the original Thorens CD40 turntable, H.H. Scott Dynaural Noise Suppressor (HH's first product) and Jensen speaker that would probably be considered my oldest hifi piece.

Just today my Dennis Had Magnavox EL84 SE arrived and it's driving some 12" Zenith 49CZ802 alnico wide band speakers in open baffles. Hope to do a review once I've had more time to listen. I have several SET amps but this is my first SEP. So far I like what I'm hearing.

I am the proud owner of (yes I said it PROUD) Nobsound NS-02D SE amp and another Chinese tube preamp. They seem to have learned to build better tube amps and preamps. Mine sound great with the stock tubes. Will tube roll at some point. I haven't had them long enough to comment on durability yet...

Are the old SE's really called rat rods or is that what you call them?

I have heard them referred to as the "Magnificent Magnavox".

The term is not specific to Maggies. I generally apply it to any ugly, beat up-looking, corroded unit that actually sounds really good. My old Fisher 500B is a bit of a rat rod.
