What McIntosh Gear Are You Using?

Here's my minimalist system. MA5200, MB50 Music Streamer, SONOS Connect (Wyred4Sound upgraded), all Wire World cables (speaker, interconnects, power), REL T9/I sub (with Arrow wireless system), and Bowers & Wilkins 805 D3 speakers. That's a ThermalRest camping mat in the corner. I'm embarrassed to show you my left and right wall treatments (hint: took them out of my teardrop camper).

Well.. got my 70's gear hooked up and together in a system for the first time since 1989, and now connected to the XR6s with the MQ104 in the loop (next photo).

Then got the Thiels in the act. MQ104 is sitting on top or cabinet (upper right).

I've seen Greg's gear. Its as if these pieces came fresh out of the factory boxes (which he still has)! Very well maintained and cared for gear. Worthy of Mint quality for sure.

IMG_2165.JPG I am just starting my gear build. I have a pair if MC30s and a MC40 powering Klipsch La Scalas. I thought I would buy both, listen to the differences and decide which I would keep. I find I like both!

I have had these two pieces of used gear since 1982 and they have been completely refurbish once and they are still going strong.

I still love their sound.

Wow - MC2000! Those don't come up for sale very often, let alone on CL.

Had to sell my McIntosh MC2102 to buy the MC2000, but am really happy with decision. Just put in new tubes a few hours ago. Putting in new led bulbs tomorrow as the bulbs are bad. Original tubes were in the unit but they were long in the tooth.
