True, it is a classic. But, IMHO, you will be best served by seeking out a vintage Wally mastered cut. Just ain't no better!

Thanks Willie; do you know if any of those 180-gram reissues are good, though? I know there's a rare picture disc issue out there but from my experience with the Thriller picture LP, these don't sound "audiophile" in any sense of the word...

I have not heard any of the 180's. The Wally's are highly regarded. I have only heard the non Wally originals, a few blue labeled reissues and the Mastersound audiophile issue.
