William S. Burroughs: A Man Within (2010)

Really enjoyed him with Material/Laswell. Heck, I still do.

The album Seven Souls, released in the late 80s or early 90s. Dang I'd forgotten all about that, and I have a copy in a box somewhere.

IIRC he also was included in a number on a Ministry album, also early 90s.

The turn this thread has taken reminds me not only of Burrough's musical path, but that he was a celebrated visual artist as well.

But back to the music thing, one is also reminded about the many bands, some rather successful, that took their names from characters, etc., in Burrough's literary works. The biggest (heh heh) was/is, of course, Steely Dan.

The more off-topic (ie, the documentary film) we've gone, the better this thread has become. Thanks y'all.
