I picked up a Xbox One S last weekend Used in our local classifieds. People are starting to sell them as they are upgrading to the Xbox One X and the prices can be very tempting( mine was..). Personally, I got it for surfing Ebay on my couch, light gaming and mainly the 4K bluray player . What I did not expect was it's surprising Sound Quality as a music streamer. I've been listening to Spotify premium on it for a week and I am impressed. It seems to depend on the song but even bass seems full yet controlled. Mid-range is natural and the highs don't make me grind my molars. I won't call it a giant killer for the truly good dedicated media streamers by any means but it is good enough for me to be quiet and just listen to the music! Like the header on this post says..Who knew?
