Most of us go from plateau to plateau. I can't imagine ever saying "here it ends". Back in the time when people were ditching their records by the bushel and making digital copies I found myself mystified. To me it was like saying a fly-in-amber is still a functioning fly. If I'd stopped then, made the copies with the table etc. I had and been done with it I'd never have had the vaguest notion what my LPs could potentially sound like, let alone all of the wonderful music I've collected and listened to since then. "Done" be damned!
It’s that feeling you get when everything is just perfect and there is no reason to update or change anything again, ever.
It usually lasts about 3 days and then the searching starts back up.
