Just posted on Netflix. Zhongkui: Snow Girl and the Dark Crystal (2015) is a visual knockout. Based on Chinese mythology. Some of these Chinese fantasies are quite strange this one is fantastic. It is subtitled, which I actually have learned to prefer. The story is a fantasy romance between Zhongkui a demon slayer, and the Snow Girl a Demon in the understated way this is done in China. It is Zhongkui's battle to save the 3 realms Heaven, Earth, and Hell. Great CGI. Demons, Dragons, Gods, etc, set in a China of the 4th or 5th century BC. Some of the battle scenes might be a bit to much for small children. There is a 3D version of the film that if it is like the some of the other 3D movies out of China I have seen promises to be startling.
