The Before Photos
After a few years of being a studio/practice/gear storage space, this room is in the process of going back to it's original purpose... ...solely, a listening room.
The computer is for squeezing analog onto 44.1 disc, only and is kept powered down usually when not serving that purpose. A Pioneer SA-7500 (used as a preamp) is out of service at the moment rendering the working SAE Mark IIIA power amp useless. The Sony, whatever it is, is standing in while I decide between fixing the SA-7500 or building Bottlehead gear. If I can build a better crossover/mod the big KLH's, they may make it back to the room. For now, these little EPI's are pleasing and not overpowering.
The Technics SL-M3 is taking a break while I transcribe some lps. It is fully functional and a wonderful deck. Gutted old guitar amps provide extra LP storage, for now.
(I need to "Ikea".)
The second of two, 4-shelf LP towers.
This is the first of the two LP towers and currently where my "glass" is.
The rest of the room is still littered with guitars, amps, a pedalboard, cables, loose paperwork, more crates of lps, stacks of CDs, etc. and I'm not going to torture anyone with that. Bad enough I have to look at it...
