just ordered Camaro 1SS RS

How the F**K did you get that Autobot logo in the Chevy Bowtie . And everywhere else ? That car is SICK !

DAAAHMN:jawdrop: that is one fine car! Man, they really did the old camaro right!

Jeez...I don't think I could wait if I knew that was coming:no:. I love that old style deep-dash meters:yes:.

The only, only thing I would do if it were mine, is to add a wood shifter knob, but i'm not sure how it would look in that car.

I can only imagine how it sounds :music: I know when our mustang starts, I get hot under the collar:D

Primo choice, man :thmbsp:

Very nice. Have you considered matte black stripes on that cowl. A friend of mine did that, made the car look very aggressive. Any track plans?

EDIT: How about some engine pics man? LOL.

No stripes for me not a stripe person.

I have a track near by and they also have 100 octane there.
But I have to join but first its 3700.00 to join and about 90.00 a month dues.

I go and hang around and I am getting to know some members and they can let their friends run laps on a guest pass but still got to hang around there a little more for them to get to know me.

Engine pics are coming.
I have ordered the color matching engine cover but it didn't come when the car delivered.
Have headers and a cold air box on order too (back ordered)
Tuesday I should have the short throw shifter from MTI http://www.mtiracing.com/purchase/2010-camaro/mti-racing-shifter-for-2010-camaro.html in.
Here is a pic.
Once done off to get a full dyno tune decided to go that route instead of the hand held tuner.
I do want to take it the the strip just to run the clock one day

The engine cover will be a nice touch. 100 octane, you going to tune for that? I assum you are talking road course and not 1/4 mile drag strip?

The engine cover came in about a week ago looks good.
I would take some pics but someone stole my camera and dont have the extra money (because of the below) to get another on right now lol

mods and tune next week

Kooks Long tube headers http://www.kookscustomheaders.com/show.php?pid=889
Kooks Low restriction cats
Airaid CAI http://www.airaid.com/IntakeSystems.aspx
Changing the AC Delco Plugs to Autolite XP Extreme performance
Then they will do a Dyno tune all to be done by http://www.xhpsolutions.com/home.php?cat=338
Will be running VP 100 octane (AKA Streetblaze) from this point on, already have a fresh tank and even with out the tune I can tell the difference with the 100
The tuner will be setting computer Octane from 91 to 96 (that's the actual Motor rating). http://www.vpracingfuels.com/page535437.html?lnum=16768619
VP100 Spec sheet: http://www.vpracingfuels.com/vp100%20%28aka%20streetblaze%20100%29%20spec%20sheet.html?lnum=16768446
Yeah I don't have a 1/4 track close by there is a 1/8 mile track and the road course track is where I get the VP fuel 15 minutes from my house.
The next mod will be this summer going with a 3.70 gear from Lingenfelter

Oh man! I can't wait to see what numbers she puts up!
Yeah I am excited about it heck cant even sit still.
I am not going totally rad like some of their other customers...one before is dropping a blower in it.
I really need to calm down on the spending if that's possible lol
this last mod just came on me quickly and went for it at the last minute.
Really need to control that.
The shop will also do a post about the mods with pics etc as soon as the thread is started I will post a link to it.

minor tweaking needed

I need to bring it back for some minor air/fuel mixture tweaking.
They need to do a trim adjustment.
But so far its like a different car hope to get the final dyno # after the trim adjustment.

Congrats on the new car! They move out pretty good. Theres plenty of them here in the Detroit area, and a few that have had lots of mods done. A place near me called Livernois Motorsports has a stage 2 performance package that adds about another 125HP. They port the heads, swap the cam, add the full Kooks long-tubes, x-pipe, and tailpipes, hardened pushrods, wideband O2, and a dyno tune. $5500 installed. Not bad at all, considering lots of dealerships in your area are charging $5000+ over MSRP. Ive been thinking of getting that stuff done to my GTO for awhile now...along with a bigger gear and torque convertor. LSx motors are the best thing since sliced bread IMO :D.

Put a blower on it!

Or...heads cams and a blower....

Or...internals, heads cams and a blower...

Why hold back!
