Nikko NR-1219

Hey guys I have a chance to get one of these for a real good price and want to know if anyone here has any experience with this unit. I've heard these babys really rattle the windows. It's really in nice condition and want to know pro's con's etc? Any help would be great.

I personally like Nikko receivers. Been using one for a long time. Never any issues. They do tend to fly under the radar a lot.

I've got some Nikko stuff such as a power and preamp, the Alpha 230 and Gamma 30 models. I bought em new about 30 years ago, never had a problem with em and they sound great. I've really pushed that amp the odd time and it's never complained one bit.

I had a 1219. It sounded nice and seemed well built. The only reason I passed it on was because I thought the NR-1015 (previous series) was a better match with my Advents.
 
Was going to match it up with the pioneer PL-530 I'm going to get Saturday and run it through the EPI T/E 250 series 2 I have. Should be a cool setup I think. Thanks all:thmbsp:
