Looks very nice, you can see the high quality of the build.....

I take it you are using a 100V step-down transformer right?

Thanks Guys.
Yes Im running a large 100V Transformer. I have other 100v Sansui Equip so I was already prepared. Im loving my Sansui Tube gear (New & Old) Im keeping all my Solid state stuff. Not going to start whacking the SS collection to support the Tube gear. Later Fever

Sweet amp! Looks like new, whoever owned it prior really took care of it. Thanks for sharing how you were able to obtain it as there are a few things I might wish to look. I take it your really into the Sansui gear, what make and model of speakers are you using with that amp?

Just got the Amp Friday And yes Im a huge fan of Sansui. First stop speaker wise is the K Horns. If I put this Amp in my office then I will hook it up to a pair of JBL-L65's. Later Fever

If the opportunity ever arises you should give a pair of the Sansui SP L series a try, I would be wiling to bet those would be a very good match for that amp. They might possibly be the ultimate Sansui combo. I have a pair that I use with a Fisher amp and I find them to have a great synergy together. They are out there, I have seen two pairs come up in the last year and both were not really that hi a price, considering the quality in craftsmanship, materials, and not to mention sound quality.

Hey Ken I will keep that in mind. I have had some cool Sansui speakers like the SP-3200 & 5500 monsters. Great stuff for sure. What type of stuff are you looking for?

rasenthiran. Malasia Wow Thanks Rick

Just found something interesting. The only bit of english I could find on any of the paperwork was on the warranty card that states Warranty only valid in Japan. I sure wish I could find more info on the AU-111G

All the information you need is the information coming from your eyes and ears :thmbsp:

Nice acquisition. Very beautiful piece of machinery there, Sansui + tubes + relatively new. That's jackpot there my friend.

After lusting for many years I have finally found my Sansui dream machine. Its the AU-111G Vintage manufactured in 2001 with a production run of 100 units. In the past I have seen 1 or possibly 2 pop up in Japan but never here in the USA. I got tired of waiting and joined a Japan based broker CO called Rinkya. Awesome company to do Bizz with and the Staff is vary helpful on all levels. I have tried to contact High End audio store's in Japan with little or no reply. Yahoo Japan is like our EBAY. But good luck finding sellers who will deal with you. Rinkya will bid for you and deal with the seller. Getting back to the Machine. Its a Sansui Japan market 100V replica of the 1960's AU-111 with 6L6GC output tubes. Sansui also made a AU-111Vintage model in 1999 with a production run of 200 unites. The G version is laid out with gold lettering Knobs & Feet. The G version is also more suitable for SACD. Im just blown away at how awesome this unit sounds. A vary special to Bluesky for turning me on to www.yahoo.co.jp/

I'm very ' Very ' jealous!!! :thmbsp: Ahhhhh.....

Most Super Excellent!! :music:

Congrads johnny_fever!! Well done!! Such a fine amp!! One of the Very Best of the Very Best Sansuis. No doubt about that.

Perfect!

Congrads again. :)

Thanks Bluesky.
It was your global search skills that helped me find this unit. Japan is booming with High End stereo equipment. I got to play records & cd's all day/night long yesterday. What a great Sansui Tube Amp...Thanks again. Fever
