Lightning hit it, and I could see from the ground what looked like 2 coax cables coming off of it.
I just ASSumed one was for VHF, one UHF.
Upon getting up there, I could see one cable was hanging there not attached to anything.
Anyway, lightning blew out the box where the antenna cable changes to coax.
I really sound like I know what I'm talking about, huh?!?!
The elements (thanks for the proper term, Tom) aren't bent, as I thought, just folded down from birds landing on them.
I got the lower one straightened out, only because I used my checkbook I happened to have in my pocket, and stood on my tippy toes.
Those top 2 are just too high. A little too thrilling for my taste, if you know what I mean.
I need a yardstick or something to reach them.
