Picked up a Fisher 660 receiver side of the road yard sale for $3 know nothing about it working wise - l think it is from the first Fisher receiver trans. lines. late 60's.

I tried e-bay;classic equipment sites;Audio Asylum it had a 600 listed but l cannot find anything about it does anyone here know anything also is there a vintage Fisher site.

Don't know the model but it isn't from the first ss line or hybrid period. Suspect from the 70s. First test - is it from US or Japan manufacturer. If Japan the from the post Avery Fisher period.

660 the best!

Congratulation bicmac!! The Fisher 660T is the best receiver of Fisher receiver line up. It was introduced late 1960's(1965?), 40W output level at 4ohm. Is is very very rare model.

Looks a lot like my non-working 550-T, but without the ugly wood-grained vinyl on the front. Wasn't able to find much information on mine either other than it was from the first Fisher transistor receiver series.
