$900 for everything?

Yeah, there's a few pieces in there that look interesting, but man! You'd really have to move a lot of real crap along with it!

Shoot, if I was there, I'd take a run at that. You could flip most of it and probably come out ahead. You'd need some storage space, though.

Absolutely worth it. Based on the law of averages there has to be at least 3 to 5 pieces worth a couple of hundred. The rest is gravy.

Gotta wonder how someone comes up with a price like that? Not saying it's wrong or right.. just curious. "Hum.... Feels like $900...."

As to what I would do, I think I would give it a whirl. Would keep me in projects for a while :)

not just storage but some transport too...

that looks like a project and a half...

I'm really doing my best to keep this from being my ad someday...

I've been trying really hard to not buy anymore stuff...

i want that just for that big meter technics amp i see however.. but no way in heck i could manage to deal with all that stuff right now.

Buy big meter McItosh amps then you'll find you have less money to buy excess gear, nor will you want it any more.:thmbsp:

Knowing the O.C. market and the level of competition down there, I bet that load has been picked clean of JBL's, Altec's, etc, etc. What is left is thrift store fodder.

I spy a technics power amp, a big JVC EQ and a pair of Marantz mono blocks. That's most, if not all your money back right there.

Wish these kind of deals turned up in the uk!

I sold two full truck loads for 500 about four years ago, I might have broke even on what I had invested. Tax time comes and sometimes you gotta move stuff quick.

Everyone's talking about the gear...when (unless it's ALL Mantovani) there's probably over $900 in LPs alone. The gear's just the gravy.

Yep.

Cull out the good stuff and garage sale the rest for $10 a piece.
You'll make money.
If you're hard core, you could part out some iffy pieces for knobs and feet and make even more.
Here you could leave the carcasses on the curbs and the scrappers will snag them in a couple hours.

If you got the time, you can make some money there pretty easily.
