84% feedback and alot of non-pays. I never buy from anyone with less than 98% without first checking their history. He's only got 13 sales under his belt. Having those few bad marks is a bad sign.

This seems like a bad idea to me. I'd stay away.
 
I actually bid and won one of his item. I paid 7 days ago. No item yet. No tracking number no nothing. paypal complain filed. wish I was smart.

The news thru the grapevine is that the illustrious former Moderator of the 'Exclusively Sansui' forum, BeatleFred :smoke:, had contacted the Ebay seller and asked him if he could come over to personally see the items, but didnt get a response.

Floral Park happens to be in the vicinity of Long Island, NY where Hempstead & Valley Stream is, thus there is a strong possibility that the seller may actually be that well known crook, Henry Louis, or some other shady character that works with him to sell phony Sansui & Accuphase equipment.

He has no feedback left for him since last summer - this past Aprils "winner" has not left feedback - probably a "shill" bid ?
 
I e mailed him for local pickup.......

I e mailed him for local pickup , this is his responce...."I WILL ONLY SHIP...IT'S ONLY ME AND MY MOM IN THE HOUSE, NO STRANGERS ALLOWED" I wouldnt buy for this guy no matter what the price is on his items... I KNOW something is up when you have all that gear at great prices and you CANT pick up.... I responded to his e mail and told him, I wont come in the house, just leave it on the front porch, and Ill leave the $$ in the mailbox...... lets see how he responses to that....lol.... :scratch2:

I also e-mailed the seller and asked him to describe the damage. This was his reply:

"it has all the original parts....ups dropped it and the knob came loose"

Yuk, yuk, yuk...

Hope tubetyme has an extra $600 lying around!!!!
 
I emailed him for some close-up pictures of the ba-3000 and his response was quote "how would that help?" Stay clear of this bozo. :nono:
