The turntable is the Pro-Ject 9.2 RPM, the tube amp is the Jolida 502BRC and the speakers are the Pinnacle BD 1000 Tower.

... and the preamp on the left side is a McIntosh C22 reissue. Almost forgot - the cartridge is an Ortofon 2M Red.

and it goes up it flames at the end , had to spoil the ending for y'all . He did the anti static cloth rub before each play . Not a bad action flick over all .

wow you guys caught all that ,and the cart.??Was the system in only 1 scene ?

Just a matter of freeze framing the scene right before the whole lot blows up....it's in the trailer too. I have studied that scene and still can't see the McIntosh pre amp though.

That movie will have to go a long way to beat the original.

Have not seen the new one yet but I do want to.

When the two of them are in the living room and he puts a record on, you can see the whole set of cabinetry extending to the left. The C22 is there but probably not hooked up to anything. It's about 5 feet from the turntable.

The C22 is gone. You don't want to destroy a piece that expensive, especially since they aren't making them anymore. Nobody noticed until we had a fresh look at stills of the fire. The other bits are easily replaced and probably not as expensive.

Got it:

Long live the anoraks of AK! My sister came by today and told me there was a cool TT in the movie and he had a tube amp. I go to look it up and find the denizens of my old haunt have figured it out in all it's gory detail. Which leads to some interesting data. My sis not being much of an audio geek didn't recognize that the amp is the newer version of my 502. And i'm borrowing my friend's Ortofon red.
